Congratulations, just by coming to this website you have taken your first step towards learning to drive.

As today’s roads become busier and the driving test gets harder, a thorough training becomes essential.  Russell Ellis, a friendly and sympathetic instructor,  is committed to training drivers to the highest standards of expertise and safety.

As an approved DSA driving instructor Russell supports the DSA mission, “Safe Driving For Life" and undergoes continual professional development to ensure that he is up to date with the latest DSA standards and research.

Driving lessons in Carlisle and surrounding areas;  Brampton, Langholm, Gretna, Hawick and Ewes, refresher courses and discounted rates available for block bookings,allowing pupils to develop invaluable urban and rural driving skills proficiency.

Russell Ellis is also registered to take Pass Plus courses.  Once passed, and although not essential, this qualification is invaluable.  It not only ensures the driver's expertise on motorways but also enhances safety. This will also qualify the new driver for discounted insurance rates with many insurance companies.
